Delete some of your data

Last updated 12 October 2026

Patterns is made by Reactiive SRL. You can ask us to delete part of your data and keep your account. To delete the account with everything in it, use this page instead.

How to ask

  1. Email privacy@patterns.gg from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete some of my Patterns data”. If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, tell us your username instead.
  2. Say which of the things below you want deleted.
  3. We'll confirm it's your account, delete what you asked for, and reply within 30 days — usually much sooner.

What we can delete, and keep your account

  • Your play history: every puzzle attempt, your rating and streaks, Storm runs, Journey progress, bookmarks, your Mistakes list, your daily-goal history, the record of notifications we sent you and your Storm podium alerts. Your account starts again without history and with a new rating. Your starting level and daily-goal setting stay unless you ask us to clear them too.
  • The link between you and the product events recorded so far — records such as “the app was opened”. They stay as counts, with your account and the device identifier stamped on them removed. Two limits: the first “app opened” event of each device keeps its device identifier, and events recorded after that are linked to your account again, for as long as you keep using it.
  • Notification tokens and your sign-ins on other devices. Notifications stop and you're signed out on those devices within about 15 minutes.
  • Your display name and your username. You can change your username yourself in the app; we can also clear it and the app will ask you for a new one.
  • Your profile picture. We remove our link to it. If it came from Google, the image itself stays with Google.

What we can’t delete without deleting the account

  • Your email address. It is the account: without it the account can't exist, so removing it means deleting the account (here's how).
  • Subscription and payment records, held by Apple or Google and by RevenueCat under their own retention rules and the law, and the copy of your subscription status and billing events that Patterns keeps to run Patterns Pro.
  • The record that our founder's welcome email was sent to you, kept with your address.
  • Crash reports and delivery logs held by our service providers, which expire on their own schedules. The Privacy Policy lists them.

You have other rights over your data too — a copy of it, correcting it, objecting to a use. They're in the Privacy Policy, and you ask for them at the same address.
