Delete your account

From the app

1. Tap your avatar at the top of the screen and choose Profile.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
3. Tap Delete, then Delete forever to confirm.

If you subscribe to Patterns Pro, the first prompt offers Manage subscription. Cancel your subscription there first: it's billed by Apple or Google and keeps renewing after the account is gone. How to cancel.

Without the app

Email hello@reactiive.io from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my Patterns account”. If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, tell us your username instead. We'll confirm it's your account, delete it, and reply within 30 days — usually much sooner.

What is deleted

• Your account: email, name, profile picture, sign-in links to Apple or Google, and password
• Your username, and your place on every leaderboard and in the Hall of Fame
• Your rating, streaks, every puzzle attempt, Storm runs, Journey progress, bookmarks and your Mistakes list
• Your settings, sessions on every device, and notification tokens
• Any waitlist entry with the same email address

What is kept

• Product events — such as “the app was opened for the first time” — stay, with your account removed from them. They're identified only by random install and session identifiers, and are used for counting, not for anyone in particular.
• Subscription and payment records are held by Apple or Google, and by RevenueCat, which manages subscriptions for us, under their own retention rules and the law.
• Crash reports and delivery logs held by our service providers expire on their own schedules. The Privacy Policy lists them.

Signing in again after deleting creates a new, empty account. Nothing from the old one comes back.
